Testing Teclistamab (TECVAYLI) in Combination With Iberdomide for Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Recurrent Multiple Myeloma · Refractory Multiple Myeloma

This phase Ib trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of iberdomide in combination with teclistamab in treating multiple myeloma that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that does not respond to treatment (refractory). Iberdomide is a medication that belongs to a group of drugs known as cereblon E3 ligase modulators. Iberdomide works by targeting and destroying proteins that help myeloma cancer cells to survive. A monoclonal antibody is a type of protein that can bind to certain targets in the body, such as molecules that cause the body to make an immune response (antigens). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as teclistamab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Giving iberdomide in combination with teclistamab may be safe and tolerable in treating patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.

Study Assessing Complete Wound Healing by Comparing Surgenex® PelloGraft in Treating DFU and SanoGraft® in Treating VLU to SOC

Diabetic Foot Ulcer · Venous Leg Ulcer

The purpose of this study is to compare Pellograft to standard of care modalities in treating diabetic foot ulcers in human subjects, and to compare Sanograft to standard of care in treating venous leg ulcers. The study will demonstrate wound healing outcomes with comparators including time to wound epithelialization, decrease in wound size, and total number of study product applications towards healing outcome. This information is important to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other payors in determining coverage policy and reimbursement for this product category.

Optimizing Reperfusion to Improve Outcomes and Neurologic Function

Acute Ischemic Stroke

The goal of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of JX10 versus placebo in participants with Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) who present for care within 4.5 to 24 hours. The main question the study aims to answer are: 1. JX10 improves functional outcomes as measured by the modified Rankin Scale score when compared with placebo following AIS. 2. Risk of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage of JX10 in participants with AIS. During Part 1, participants will be randomized to JX 10 (1mg/kg, 3 mg/kg) or placebo. During Part 2, participants will receive JX10 (optimal dose chosen from Part 1) or placebo.

Testing the Use of Combination Therapy in Adult Patients With Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma, the EQUATE Trial

Plasma Cell Myeloma · RISS Stage I Plasma Cell Myeloma · RISS Stage II Plasma Cell Myeloma

This phase III trial compares the combination of four drugs (daratumumab, bortezomib, lenalidomide and dexamethasone) to the use of a three drug combination (daratumumab, lenalidomide and dexamethasone). Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as lenalidomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Daratumumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Anti-inflammatory drugs, such as dexamethasone lower the body's immune response and are used with other drugs in the treatment of some types of cancer. Adding bortezomib to daratumumab, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone may be more effective in shrinking the cancer or preventing it from returning, compared to continuing on daratumumab, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone.

Miro3D Wound Matrix for Treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers

Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs) · Diabetic Foot · Chronic Wounds

This study is designed to evaluate whether the Miro3D Wound Matrix, when used in addition to standard of care, improves healing outcomes in patients with chronic diabetic foot ulcers. Diabetic foot ulcers are a common and serious complication of diabetes and may be difficult to heal despite appropriate treatment. Standard of care typically includes regular wound cleaning, debridement (removal of dead tissue), offloading (reducing pressure on the wound), and moisture-balancing dressings. However, some wounds fail to heal with standard treatment alone. Miro3D Wound Matrix is a three-dimensional, acellular scaffold derived from porcine tissue that is intended to support wound healing. This study will compare outcomes in patients treated with Miro3D plus standard of care versus standard of care alone. Approximately 180 adult subjects with non-healing diabetic foot ulcers will be enrolled at multiple clinical sites in the United States. After a two-week screening period, eligible participants will be randomly assigned to receive either Miro3D in addition to standard of care or standard of care alone. Subjects will be followed for up to 12 weeks with weekly clinic visits. The primary objective of the study is to determine whether treatment with Miro3D increases the rate of complete wound closure and improves reduction in wound size compared to standard of care alone. Safety will also be evaluated by monitoring adverse events throughout the study.
